Momma's Day

I've been struggling for two days with what to write.  My heart is overflowing and the words seem like garb-ally  goop coming out.  So I'll just tell you...  I'm thankful to be a momma.  Yesterday Jeremy said we shouldn't get so stressed out on being super mom.  LOL.  minus the cape, I am super mom.

I never thought of myself that way, I just loved my girl, everything I've ever done, it's because of her.  All the sacrifice, that doesn't really seem like sacrifice because it's done because of Love, it was all worth it.  The night's of going hungry (yes, in our house this happened to me), stress, running from one thing to another, the tears, it's all worth it, just for one hug.

Scrunched up faces, rolling of the eyes for pictures, smiles, tears, homemade cards, countless trips to the zoo(s), lots and lots of cupcakes, Austria, feeding 'reindeer' on Belle Isle, watching her leave for Colombia (twice), hugging her when she returned, serving together in so many ways, watching her baptism (the second/real one), presents, hugs, snuggles, kisses on the tops of heads...

Mother's Day would be nothing without my Pean.  I'm so thankful to be her momma!

~Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get, only with what you are expecting to give, which is everything.

It's off to a fun day!  Church with Phyllis (I'm bringing treats for my peeps), lunch at The Hudson Cafe, Good Deeds, we will probably watch 'A Joyful Noise', Tacos for Dinner and a trip to Alive to pick up some stuff...
