LITGWM: Planning and being honest with myself

This time of year, I set my goals and plan for the year to come.  It started when I was in Youth Ministry. One year we went on a retreat and set our goals for the ministry and ourselves.  It's actually perfect timing. and when people are thinking about what they are going to do for the coming year, I do a check in to see where I stand in hitting my goals.

The last two years I have not set goals.  Two years ago I didn't do goals because I needed to rest.  Last year we were in Europe and I just didn't.

This year I've been thinking about my own garden.  Some of it has been really great... and some of it... so much much if I am being honest.

I didn't plan very well this year and some of my dirt wasn't the greatest!  The weather was mild and that's not great for winter sowing and then it was super freaking hot FAST If I would have planned better maybe it would have better but this year... it is what it is.  And the last few years I have spent WAY too much!    but next year...  I am ready with a plan for next year's garden.

I even hit my favorite place to buy seeds.  MIGARDENER

I've started to put together a plan to make an area in my garage a potting area.  Dorky, right?  but also cool, right?

I'm kind of excited.

I heard recently when you go on a trip, there are actually 3 trips.  The one you plan, the one you go on, and the one you tell everyone about.

I feel like that with planning goals and even planning on my garden.

I love the thought of goals and accomplishing things

I also know it will be difficult and also fun!

And I know that when the year comes to an end, there will be lots to tell about the journey of it all!

The best is yet to be!
