It's crazy my life sometimes! I'm going to write this post as the day goes on!
I've gone without food in my life and i just paid to pet a koala!
Today is a really rainy day but we really wanted to make it to Philip Island and today is the day! We are even gonna see penguins!
We stopped at a Sanctuary and took a picture with a koala and then fed the kangas which reminded me of when we would go find the "reindeer" on belle isle.
And on the bus back the song "Africa" came on and i was transported to two different, very different, times in my life... Phyllis singing in RoVaSi and they sang it. Watching her sing was one of the greatest joys of my life. I'd cry every time. And thinking about it, makes me tear up, i can't put in words the love i have for being my daughter's momma. There's no greater title i have ever held then "mom".
The second memory of the song "Africa" is when i was in Uganda. There is nothing the color of the red clay set against the perfect blue sky. The sound of laughter of the children echoes in my heart and I long to hear it again. The sound of the worship radiates through my veins and gives me life.
My life certainly has not been a charmed one. But it sure is a good one! I told my friend "I feel like God is like "I know how hard it has been, I know what I've asked you to do, i see you. I've seen you, I've walked with you, and here's a trip of a lifetime, I Loveyou."
