You see these crazy adventures of women who partcipate in Girl's Night Out. Last night was the 'Card's life group' ladies night out.
Now, see here's the difference of women who are trying to show off, and those of us who really do just enjoy each other's company.
Normal Society: Big dinner, expensive dinner. Trip to 'the club', drinking, hitting on guys that you don't know, maybe ending in someone "taking someone home".
Card's life Group: Coney Island, cooing over the most beautiful little baby boy you've ever seen. Dollar Show for a funny movie, What happens in Vegas with Cameron Diaz and Ashton, (http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi2092040473/). Angie's chair broken so she had to lay down during the movie. Trip to DQ. And as much laughter as you could have without peeing your pants.
It was the best time I've had in a long time. It's funny because God has really been speaking to my heart lately about 'doing less' and 'enjoying life more'. That's difficult for me. There's always a responsibility, someone who will be let down. But last night, I just relaxed, laughed, enjoyed the night with 5 other beautiful women.
