Busy Busy Busy!

The last few weeks have been insanely busy!  It's been long days at work - and tons of stuff after work.  On the days I don't have anything, I come home to try to make some order around here.  There have been a lot of meals cooked lately for others!  And let me just say, it's been crazy... even for me!

It is in these kind of times when I tend to get crabby.  I start to produce an overabundance of word vomit - and all those great things that I do... I undo them like a frayed ribbon in the wind.

I knew that things were going to be crazy!  And so this time, I kept my eyes focused on one thing - Jesus!  I read my bible study about Christmas!  I've listened to worship music, stayed plugged in with friends who love Jesus to their core, and did 'thankfuls' in my head everyday!  And I even scheduled in a little fun!  A trip to the DIA (Chase & I won the scavenger hunt! woot!) and a Wings game!

Today I showed up at church a little crazy, a couple trips up the stairs with presents and paper for Joy to the D.  I was a little harried. I had taken my eyes off the prize for just a second.  Took me a minute to refocus.

The rest of my day is going to be relaxing!  Some wrapping of presents, making lunch for my favorite girl, running the dishwasher, and we are going to see Wicked at the Detroit Opera House.

I'm learning to find 'Sabbath' time.  It may not look like what someone might consider 'normal' Sabbath but everyone recharges in different ways.  I have found my ways, and each day it is not even the same.  And then... I will be back to FULL STEAM AHEAD!  It is important to make the most of every opportunity!

Loved this scripture today! It knocked me off my seat!

Romans 12:18  If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
