A to Z faith - xylophone

  1. I have always loved the xylophone (yes I know this is a stretch). These last few letter are difficult... Lol if I ever invent a word, it will be cool and start with a letter from the end of the alphabet.
But for real, I've always loved the xylophone! What an incredible percussion instrument! It gets hit by sticks with balls on the end and it sounds beautiful.
I think it's awesome!!!  I want to be like the xylophone, I want things to come at me even when it's hard (especially  when it's hard) and make a beautiful sound. Unfortunately  often it sounds like a clunk :(
I don't want to be fake (speak Christianese) but I do want to be able to go the scripture and reflect HIS goodness. I want a beautiful song to reflect from my life...
Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things; his right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him. The Lord has made his salvation known and revealed his righteousness to the nations. He has remembered his love and his faithfulness to Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with the harp, with the harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn— shout for joy before the Lord, the King. (Psalm 98:1-6 NIV)
