I have always loved my hodge podge of a decorated Xmas tree! It's full of memories. But... i have always dreamed of having. Precious Moments tree.
This year i made the dream come true.
This Christmas everything seems a little more peaceful - now that the renovation is done 😂
As i put the ornaments on i thought about "nine ladies dancing" when my daughter was 5 in her Christmas recital.

It was the sweetest thing to see her twirling away! It makes my heart just smile thinking of it
And the other is this sweet "old rugged cross". It reminds me of my sista Dawn. We had a prayer vigil at First Baptist of Wyandottte and her real sister Sue let me help. At some point Dawn came in and sang "old rugged cross" like nothing I had ever seen/heard before or since. She literally gave all she had in worship. Still makes me tear up.
I feel like the most blessed this holiday season even though there is so much going on around me that seems out of control.
So thankful for the quietness of the night and the peacefulness of my home
