Bucket List - EWF

 I forgot my book of Question of the Day and apparently I haven't been very creative lately...  I think I may be a little overwhelmed with things so I am trying to slow down and I got a new book! I am pretty excited about it!  "before you climb any higher" so far it's been great!  I am currently sitting on the deck watching the fiery red sun come up among the clouds.  

Yesterday I went to see Earth Wind & Fire at Interlochen.  I've always loved EWF.   I remember buying their Greatest Hits tape (and then CD) when I was younger and listening to it over and over again!  When I found out that I was going to be able to go see them this year I was so excited.  They were the last artist on my MUST see list with the exception of Billy Joel (which I am bummed I will never see him!) and it felt kind of crazy. I kept waiting for something to happen. 

My friend had purchased the tickets in February...  at that point we had no idea I'd be up north the very day that they would be performing!  

A funny thing happened, she went to the drink tent and I went to get us waters and when I came back I could see her looking for me and she said "I was looking for someone in a black dress" - which would be normal but I did not have black dress on - which was odd for me!  It was green WITH FLOWERS ON IT!  LOL. People can change! But know for certain, my black dresses are all here to stay!

I just couldn't believe the talent on the stage!  I could barely take my eyes off them!  And Philip Bailey is 74!!! and the rest of the band jamming out!  They do what they love and it's apparent!  It was cool to see Philip Bailey Jr performing with this father!

What a night! I was sweating from dancing, couldn't remember some of the words to songs I've loved my whole life but...  a good time was had by all!
