I planned on coming up to Traverse City after I finished with Ark on Saturda. It was going to mean that I couldn’t bring as much stuff but it would have been fine. But it turned out that my plans and I was going to have a very early Saturday morning and a lot of rushing. Instread I changed my plans and decided to come up on Sunday.
One thing about waiting an extra day, I was able to relax so once I got here I could relax.
I drove up. Parked. Opened the car door had heard the waves hit the shore to say “I’m so glad you are here”
which is the perfect place for a first meal on vacation. The Stump Jumper and the Station Salad.
I hit a little place that has tons of flowers/hydrangeas/veggies. I picked up some corn, tomatoes, blueberries, and some peaches. The perfect summer harvest. But before those was a trip to Meijer. A few things I forgot Lol which I have no idea how that could have even happened.
After the perfect dinner, I hopped in a kayak to get some movement. Watching the sunset from the kayak, the fish jumping around me. The sunsetting. The perfect temperature. The perfect night.
The night air is cool. A deep breath in of peace.
I’m so thankful. And excited for a week that will go by way too fast but I will enjoy every minute. (I even was going to cut up a watermelon and said to myself – get outside – you can cut it when it’s dark LOL)
I've got a list of things to accomplish in the quietness. One is to blog everyday 💓
