Well, here in the real world... You'll be happy to know that the laundry got put away.
When i used to volunteer at Grace Centers of Hope i also used to attend church there on Wednesdays and sometimes on Sundays. At one of the services Pastor Darin preached about hope - to wait with great expectation.
I have been so thankful all these years to know that lesson.
To wait with great expectation.
Sometimes I'll say "i hope this or that happens" and repeat it only
differently "i wait with great expectation this or that happens"
Sometimes when i do that it changes my heart. When i think about waiting with great expectation- it is something i would pray about - it's way more than just a wish- like one I'd blow out on a cake.
It's to say to God "i want to align with Your heart and wait for You"
It's more than just waiting for the 14 more business days of work to be on vacation.
It's to wait with great expectation of the joy that comes from the blessing of family.
To hope in the healing of my friends.
To wait with great expectation to see their bodies heal.
I wait with great expectation to see what the Lord has for me!
Romans 5:3-5
3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
