As I've shared before I'm doing a lot of planning of my garden. Last year I had put in two new beds next to the cement where I keep my garbage cans. I ended up hating it. It was too hard to get my garbage cans in and out. What a pain in the toosh it end up so I decided that I'd take one out and rearrange the way the beds are designed.
Today I moved the dirt from one of the beds and topped off two different beds that the dirt had settled. It felt so good to get it done!
The thing about my garden is that as beautiful as it is, it's not perfect and I loved that I can always change things up! I'll never have some crazy Instagram Sensation Garden but I will love my garden and share it even if it's not perfection! I hope this year I have flowers that can be shared with the neighborhood, vegetables that I can use to feed people and myself.
There's something that brings out so many senses in the garden.
Touch - feeling the grass and dirt below my feet.
Smell - the sweet fragrance of the flowers
Sight - the vibrant colors that greet me. And the moment that a fresh tomato is in my sites!
Hear - listening to the bird chirp in the yard
Taste - Popping a strawberry in my mouth or a fresh tomato
I can hardly wait!
