We lost a good one. A really really good one.
The mark that people leave on our lives cannot be measured but maybe for a moment in time it can be captured.
Nagel Bagel.
My first boss in Automotive. He gave me my first shot, and really I'm not sure why, i didnt know ANYTHING but told him i could learn anything.
The guy who taught me how to fold a drawing . Who let me learn anything i wanted. I could ask as many questions as i wanted.
I don't know how he knew but sometimes there wasn't food in my cupboards and he'd take me to lunch. He introduced me to Romas and Polish Village. More lunches at Oblivions than i can count. He introduced me to the guy that became my fiancรฉ that i never married (i forgive him for that ๐๐๐๐). He'd cheer me on as i moved in my career.
When he would talk about his family, his wife, his girls, his grand kids, man, there wasn't a light brighter than him. He loved them so much.
He always had pictures of people he worked with in his desk ❤️ I took that lesson and it lives on in me. I found an old picture of him and "sledtest" and i have pictures along the years of the lives I've got to be a part of at work.
Man, I'm so sad for the man we lost. But so very thankful.
Take pictures of those you love, someday they will be gone, and you'll be thankful.
Rest easy my dear friend, until we meet again. At
